Described as one of “Greenwich’s Great Estates” – The Pryory, a substantial 12,000 square foot Cotswold-style manor behind the gates of the Field Point Circle Association has been demolished after listing in 2018 for nearly $25.9 million. Designed by architectural firm Cross & Cross in the spirit of an English Cotswold-style countryside estate, the architecturally unique residence was built in 1916 for Samuel Frazier Pryor and his wife Ruby Jacques Pryor.
